Thin and cheap for household goods

I bought them because I don't need to go to the supermarket and because there were 10 pieces. However, they are so flimsy and cheap that you need 2 together to make them useful. I don't recommend them.

Pros
  • Quick replacement
Cons
  • Long wait

Old Fashioned Washers

These washcloths are REALLY small; about a quarter smaller than Chore Boy scrubbers of the past. My guess is that the brand was bought and the product discounted to peddle the reputation of decades past. I do not recommend this product.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Contact the seller

don't waste money. not full size. tiny!

tiny tiny tiny! it is so small less than half the size I usually buy at the supermarket. I could only spit out that I was deceived. says the boy around the house. Yes. didn't say they were tiny and almost useless. Hell I wish they were honest and said this is a smaller version of the usual. live and learn I guess.

Pros
  • great design
Cons
  • out of fashion

Absence. for cleaning sponges and chopsticks

Small and little copper. They last maybe two to four scrubs of my cast iron skillet before needing to be replaced. I read the reviews. I knew they would be like this, but I hoped they were wrong. Revain used to sell 30g pure copper scrubbers (can't remember the brand) which have lasted a long time. Unfortunately, Revain no longer sells them. So they seem like a distant "next best thing". option here, unfortunately.

Really copper on sponges and sticks

Exactly as described at a good price. Check it with a magnet to make sure you're getting copper. The problem with ordering a Chore Boy is that you can get a fake that is not real brass. Since I use this to clean the bore and cylinders of a revolver after firing lead bullets (wrap around the bore brush and use a low-speed electric drill), I need a metal that's softer than the steel I'm cleaning to avoid this to do to damage the barrel. That's the real deal.

Pros
  • In stock
Cons
  • Expensive

Good price, works well, I'm satisfied.

I've managed to wear out my Butler Copper Scrubbers so I wanted a replacement of equal value as Revain doesn't seem to have Butler Scrubbers and Butler didn't want me to order enough of them. to get free shipping. They looked promising. They're similar (Butler seems to have a nylon core) and so far they've been very durable and haven't scratched the surfaces I've used them on. I'm happy with them and will consider buying more when my initial stock runs out.

Great product - great performance

Unbelievable! It's very hard to find solid copper sponges these days (most are copper plated steel, which isn't good for my purposes). I restore antique bikes which are often found with rusty chrome finishes. These Chore Boy washcloths are just what you need. They won't scratch chrome (copper plated versions will scratch chrome) and with a little effort they are excellent at removing surface rust. I feel like I'm giving up the art restorer secret by telling people about it!

Essential for deep cleaning.

Absolutely amazing! They are great for many household chores. Pure copper, not just plated. The covered ones rust. I mostly use them in the kitchen for heavy pots, cast iron pans. Combined with a bartender cleaner, your glass oven will look pristine. Also good for removing glass stickers and water stains. A peeling lasts about 1-2 weeks. When they get a bit greasy but still usable, I put them in boiling water with a little citric acid to clean them. I'm so glad to find them in bulk on Revain…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No machine

Works great and won't scratch some surfaces like steel wool.

These are hard to find. I can't get them at regular places like grocery stores, Target, or Walmart. There are many copper-plated steels, but they are pure copper and will not scratch porcelain. I use them to get rid of grease in the oven as well as pizza pans and skillets. And they don't rust! On some dark items, the copper will wear away if rubbed too hard, but I'm more concerned about scratches on porcelain surfaces. If your stove top, oven cavity or grate gets scratched with steel wool or…
