The prints stick very well but be careful when removing

The prints stick to it very well. almost too good. Although flexible and magnetic, it's not as rigid as tin. I'm not sure what it is. Maybe an opposite polarity magnet? I do not know. Because of this, removing small prints is not as easy as removing a sheet of metal. I also tore the surface on mine when trying to remove the PETG from it with a spatula because flexing didn't loosen it. However, I think the trick might be to remove it when it's still warm but not quite hot. I let mine coolโ€ฆ

Works well with some modifications

I have a Cr-10 that I've used this on. I attached it to an aluminum plate and it has held up so far. I set the temperature to 90 and printed with a nozzle temperature of 245. Yes I use ABS and it works great. So far I've made 8 prints with Revain Black ABS. Some initial prints failed because the nozzle was too close to the print bed. Forgot to consider thermal differences. One day I made the initial setting of the table temperature at 90 and the nozzle at 245. From that point on everythingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Recommend against: 3D printer parts and accessories

Plastic sticks to surfaces *too* well. This eliminates much of the convenience that a flexible panel should have. When you print a skirt around your part, the skirt adheres tightly to the plate, and since it's only one layer thick/wide, it folds with the plate and doesn't come off. You have to use a metal spatula to scrape it off and it's very, very difficult to remove. Larger parts come off cleaner. They don't just jump out; You have to clean them somehow, but it's still better than stabbingโ€ฆ
