Beautiful lace but backlight is inconvenient to use

None of the 8 modes has a timer. This means you have to go up and down steps or stairs every time you want to turn the topper light on or off. I won't do it twice a day! What good is 8 lighting modes if you can't reach the button to turn it on?

Nowhere in the product description or photos does it state or show how short the thread is that connects to the box that contains this star. Our tree is about 7 feet tall; My height is 5 feet 4 inches. The button that turns this topper on is on the top of the box - it's very inconvenient, if not impossible, to turn on the light, so we'll have to settle for an unlit star. A decent star, but the glitter is dirty and the battery box is a bit annoying.

I expected it to be much better than it is. It looks pretty good up on the tree, but up close it looks a bit cheap and less stylish than I expected. The glitter on it is very fluffy, be prepared for all your hands to be glittery while holding the star. The wire with balls and decorations has free ends at the top of the star. I either have to roll them up or cut them off because that adds to the cheapness. It runs on 3 AA batteries that fit into a small white battery compartment. You press a…
