Lovely Chairs - Chairs

These chairs pair beautifully with our mid-century modern walnut and glass top table. Assembly went well, but be sure to read the instructions and install the legs in the suggested order. I chose dark gray fabric. There are shades of blue in the color and it is gorgeous.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • No Insurance

Mid-century vibes are good for furniture

These are attractive little chairs for the price. Very difficult. There must be a quality control issue. The stain on the legs is not painted evenly, it is passable. For the price they are acceptable. Maybe 5 stars with a change or two. Also the color says mint but they are more of a sea green but I love this part the most.

Pros
  • Sturdy finishes
Cons
  • Upgrades

What a bargain!: Chairs

Bought 2 sets of these from Revain inventory - 1 set for $48, 1 set for $59. One set read "serious defects on front, sides or back" and the other "minor defects on side". The ONLY thing wrong with EACH of the chairs in both sets - ONE chair had a loose rope. That's all. Otherwise they are PERFECT. Absolutely amazing for our northern cottage.

  • Fingers crossed

Appearance is good, quality is not very good

I was very excited when I found these chairs and thought the price was reasonable. When I received them, half of the chair legs were sloppily painted - I could have painted them better myself. Although the color and style is exactly what I was looking for. I've touched up a few spots on the photos because I don't want to disassemble/return them. But definitely not recommended.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • High price

Woodworking not precise, assembly problem

Chairs are comfortable and stylish. BUT one side of the tree wasn't trimmed properly and this interfered with the process of attaching the legs. I'm disabled, I don't have the tools to fix it and I don't have the strength to repackage it, lug it into my car and go through the return process. I'm disappointed and end up throwing one chair away but the other chair is fine. Otherwise, I like the quality and look of these chairs.

We are in love, not in love!

So far we really like these chairs but we're not in love! In photographs, wood surfaces appear darker and more mid-century modern (e.g. walnut). The chair looks more rustic in real. The base looks like pine and has a few knots. I'll probably sand them down and paint them a bit darker when I'm up for a project. Overall the price ($60 per chair) is quite high. I could get the same quality at Ikea for $35-$40 a chair.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Periodicity
