Holes don't match

Quality is good but the holes didn't match my footpegs. I had to drill new holes and put the nut on the back, then glue the rubber. There are no instructions or anything attached to it. Just a box that says "Made in China". It worked, but a lot of extra work that not every Harley owner wants to do. Definitely not turnkey.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Price

Screws really work

Great product. The screws will work, but first you need to drill and cut the holes. The tap you need to match the thread is 5mm .080. To center the holes, use a drill that fits snugly into the holes in the chrome cover and apply enough pressure to remove the black paint to mark the center. I used a 5/32 bit to make the tap hole.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Great, but only if you have mechanical skills!

Item arrived on time and undamaged. The metal seemed solid and was highly polished chrome. It was perfect for my 2010 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Classic. To install I had to mark and drill through the aluminum base with a 5/32 bit. Then thread through with a hammer drill and a steel screw. If you have some mechanical skills, this is an inexpensive way to upgrade your arcade footrest with chrome. If not, you will have a hard time installing it.

  • Very good value for money

Good value with issues

I bought them because Harleys were three times the price. When they arrived they looked great. They fit on the running boards with no problems. Where I have encountered problems are with the fasteners that attach the panel to the underside of the passenger floorboards. I drilled the size of the "bolts" through the floorboards. They wouldn't stretch. Instead of messing around with them, I went to Home Depot and bought two packs of #12 stainless steel self-tapping screws. After that, the…

Poor quality and durability

I would like to solve some problems with this product. When he received this item he looked fantastic and unharmed. I mounted them on my bike a week after receiving them and unfortunately the clear coat on the chrome or some kind of sealant has already come off. The bike has been washed twice and has done around 800 miles since installation. Maybe it was a simple defect or fault on the two I bought, but I've since removed these parts from my bike and bought them at my local Harley-Davidson…

Beautiful new jewelry for my girl.

I think most people who buy these need to drill holes for mounting. I installed them on my 2007 Harley-Davidson Roadking and had to drill and cut holes to install them. It's ok, hold them in place, drill holes, remove, drill holes, then install with red elbow on the screws. After assembling everything needed, installation only took about 30 minutes (I drilled and cut a piece of metal to make sure the hole and threads were correct before drilling and cutting the planks). Great product, thick…
