There were no parts for attaching the bars to the wings, and the wings themselves were badly deformed from overheating. The accessories that came with the kit were randomly pasted onto the packaging as if a baby would do it. My guess is that the whole thing fell off at some point and someone reattached it but didn't pay enough attention. I don't have time to initiate a return so I outfit it with some Home Depot parts and smooth it out with a heat gun. Get it from REI instead.

These have to be the most difficult fenders to install. I already had several SKS longboards with different butt ends. They are more difficult to set up. Once you get comfortable with them, they're *good* but not great. However, they are the same chromoly material that I like on the SKS fenders and they fit well. **UPDATE** 7/29/16 It has been less than a year since I bought these fenders and I've lost my bolt/nut mounts and plastic chainstay tips enough times Out of spares (I suggest buying extra ones, you will need them). Basically it's a rear wheel problem. If you live in an area with bumpy roads and such, I guarantee the plastic ends will fall off. Chromoplast is remarkably flexible and looks great. The installation was a bit fiddly. The instructions said "Check equipment and parts for completeness"... although there was no parts checklist. So it was a little confusing trying to figure out which screw/washer we were talking about during installation. So take a few minutes and go through the details and see if you have what you need.
