🔍 Genuine Chrysler 68191349AB Oil Filter for Optimal Engine Performance Review

This is an oil filter, it filters oil. This is a genuine MOPAR filter that fits my 2021 Wrangler JL/JLU 3.6 gas engine. I stocked up on 4 because the price was right.

Defective. Stuck a strange piece of clear plastic. To the filter. It could be used but not risked. There is no way to contact the seller outside of the returns window.

I ordered this filter for my 2018 JK that is about to change the oil. After some research 68191349AA, 68191349AB and 68191349AC are the same filter. One replaces the other and so on. All go like MO-349 on the box.

Perfect replacement for 2014-2016 Jeep Cherokee. Came in original Mopar OEM filter box. Displays "Only for engines built after 2014". AB is the modified ending number of the previous AA ending number.

Quality OEM filter, cheaper shipping than local Mopar dealers. Also, 68191349AB has been replaced by 68191349AC, which is now available. I received the latest oil filter MO-349, Chrysler, part 68191349AC.

I have examined (and installed) this oil filter and it is the correct oil filter for the 3.6 liter Pentastar I am using . in the 2017 Dodge Challenger SXT and many other models. For some reason the Revain install guide says this is not suitable. This is the same filter sold in Mopar's retail box labeled MO-349.

Original MOPAR; I will do that until someone (like Purolater/Bosch) makes a really top notch synthetic cartridge for this engine. At least I know it fits Chrysler's recommended drain intervals. I'm not sure about entry level aftermarket filters. Even if they do, I have no way of knowing if the characteristics are the same.

This is the exact same o-ring filter in the same MOPAR box with the same part number that I bought for my 2017 Jeep Cherokee (3.2L). V-6) from my local Jeep dealer. The only difference is that my dealer charged more than double. It's worth noting that when I asked about a filter by engine size, the dealer asked me the year of manufacture. Therefore, the same engine for an earlier model year may not use the same filter.
