🏷️ Pack of 2 Ciata Lighting Smooth White Finish Molded Plastic Ceiling Medallions, 9-3/4-Inch, for Light Fixtures and Ceiling Fans Review

I painted a few of these ORBs and they took the paint well. They really give your lights a more finished look! I will never again hang a lamp without ceiling medallions. They are smaller so I would use a much larger one for the dining/living room or for larger fixtures. I've used mine in two pendant lights and a hallway light.

I painted them black and then mounted them to the ceiling in our closet (in front of the lights). First we had some old lightbulbs that left holes in the ceiling that filled in these shapes perfectly. I didn't need to use any additional glue as the fasteners were wide enough to hold the shapes in place.

To make them work for what I needed I had to paint them to match and the damn hole was the same size as the mounting bracket and it fell through had to be in place and spot glued then install the bracket and light, with the medallion added I had to get longer screws to make the bracket work with the light. When doing the installation, be aware that a 10-minute job takes an hour and a trip to the hardware store.

After reading the reviews on this I didn't know what to expect. I was very surprised. They didn't need anything to fit snugly against the ceiling. I centered them under the lantern and tightened them. The locket is pulled up nice and taut to the ceiling. It's not flimsy at all, very solid. They can be painted but my wife liked them as is. It was for the workshop. In addition, they look really good. Will buy again if needed elsewhere.

Ordered a set of 2 medallions for about $16. They are 10" with a 4" hole. They are made of glossy white plastic. I painted them heirloom white matte. I read in other reviews that they are a bit small. I agree, I think I'd like them better if they were a few inches taller, but I ordered two of these for the bathroom, so overall I'm happy with the size. (If I were to put them in a larger space, like a bedroom or dining room, then definitely get more!) And for the price, they really are great…
