Terrible trays - can't get ice cream

I really didn't like these. I can't understand why anyone can't make a small form factor ice cube tray that you can pop the cubes out of! I bought several and was only satisfied with one. I will look for it. They have been donated

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Used for sugar cubes - and great!

Originally bought for ice cream before realizing how tiny they are! But that's okay - I ended up using a different ice cube tray for the cubes I wanted and used this one for sugar cubes filled with rosewater. It is very easy to squeeze sugar cubes. Imagine if they were very light and for ice cream if you want them to be that small. Ideal for afternoon tea and absinthe fountains.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Negative gift

More beautiful than they are practical.

Two main problems in making ice cubes.1. The lack of a rim on the outside makes them difficult to fill quickly without spilling water over the rim, which will then freeze and stick to whatever is underneath. Getting dice is a five star pain. You pretty much have to push out every single cube, causing the little silicon pouch to tip over, which then has to be slid back into place.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • No

Wash thoroughly before use

Very flexible ice molds that allow you to creatively mix formulas to create your own flavored ice cubes. (Lemon/Honey/Lime) Most importantly, wash each block thoroughly with warm soapy water before use as it has a strong plastic odor. I've also washed it in the top rack of the dishwasher, making a test cube out of water first before using it with actual supplies. Use a funnel to fill your formulas, as each compartment is so small it can be difficult to get a straight fill. .

Pros
  • Also understandable for the elderly
Cons
  • doubt

Overall a great product! Just a few little things.

Bought these for my dog because he loves ice cubes but needs them small as he still has puppy teeth. I live that you have two bowls and they make quite a lot of ice cubes. They are ideal for him but can be a problem for those who use them daily/for drinks. My only complaint is that they are difficult to fill with water. First I used a plate but then it froze on it and I had to defrost under water which made no sense. Now I have a method, but I still spill a lot of water.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Expensive
