These lights are great! We purchased them to light up our side yard for our dogs as there are predators roaming around. They are bright and light the yard beautifully.

Got this to replace my old similar style 500W Halogen light. It's white white. I really wish they made these at 3000 K verses the 5000K. The 5000K is simply garish. Plenty of lumens which is what I wanted. It's the color that's offensive. The light is installed about 24' up on front of our house. It's easy to "read a newspaper at midnight." But a bright light always keeps the cockroaches away, ie good for security.

Replaced 500 watt Halogens with these LEDs. Installed higher than is probably recommended, but we were looking to illuminate the area so we could work (farming - equipment repair/maintenance) after the sun went down, not read the newspaper.
