Circle Black Rolled Leather Collar Review

I ordered an 18" collar from the same manufacturer and it was too big so I sent it back and ordered a smaller version. This one is tough, rough on the inside and cheap. What a disappointment.

I have corgis so I wanted a collar that wouldn't damage their fur. Stays under the fur and doesn't leave a fur ring. Best suited for dogs with longer neck hair. 3 beautiful colors to choose from. My puppies look great!

Formula for the right fit. The dog's neck is 14 inches, purchased 16 inches and it barely fits in the first hole. Will have to send it back. Disappointed! Otherwise it appears to be a quality product. I would recommend taking 4 inches more than your neck measurement.

Turtlenecks have the great advantage that they don't damage your dog's coat. I changed my little rat terrier from a regular leather collar to this one and the damaged hair on his neck is already recovering. I don't understand why they are so hard to find in pet stores. They are much better than regular flat ones.

I really don't understand the design of this collar. The rolled area is securely stitched for durability. However, the flat part that goes into the buckle is not. As a result, it starts to wrinkle very quickly and does not make it any more reliable than a cheap model. Why didn't they do that part? This is such a high quality thing with such a serious flaw.

I love these collars, I have one for each of my dogs because it is the safest collar for a dog that is outside and might get hooked on something. rolled up skin allows the dog to stretch its head out in a bad situation and not choke. Unfortunately I had to return this collar and exchange it for an 18" collar as my pup has grown bigger than I thought it would.

Poor quality materials. Feels cheap and cheap. I bought this to replace a 14 year old collar of the same type (different brand) and am very disappointed. Not worth my time to return. If used on a dog, it will be worn after a few months, if bitten by another dog, it can be worn after a few days. I would look for a better leather option (is it even leather? Doesn't look like very high quality leather.) Stitching/finishing is excellent.

The paint itself is really good quality but the whole point of the collar is that you can attach a leash to it and the D-ring on this collar is so small that it is very difficult to put on and off off the leash, especially since it is right next to the collar so the colored stripe can either go over it and block it or go through it and make it too small to attach a leash. About twice as many advertising rings are required.

I love the collar and my dog Tonto Gonzalez does too. The high-quality workmanship made of class A leather ensures a long service life of the product. I use it for its ID tag and GPS tag. I don't use it for containment, instead we use nylon straps. The light weight makes it comfortable for the dog to carry. IMPORTANT: When ordering, please note that the size description is a general end-to-end measurement, NOT a measurement around the dog's neck. I needed a 16" for a 10 1/2" neck.
