They were very cute and beautiful until we hit day 40 and the heel fell off. For the money I expected it to last more than a month and a half. They got indoors kept in a closet and not worn every day if they've only ridden our cul de sac or sidewalk no tricks or crazy skating I bought two pairs of these skates (different colors) for my twins nine year old party now has one no skates to wear from them.Very disappointing.

Cheaply made. You can see the glue. Fell apart 10 minutes after my daughter went ice skating. They holed her in 10 minutes just because she fell. On a smooth surface I can add. Completely new scenery. These are not street skates. The material is so thin that I wouldn't trust them even on the ice rink. Broke her little heart for being so excited to get them. 1 star for the cute wings on the side and the adjustable feature. Everything else fails.

Unfortunately I have to agree with other reviews on these skates. They are short lived and break very easily. They are too expensive for the poor quality. A few weeks after receiving both skates, the wheels began to tilt inward and the front brakes became very loose. Luckily my daughter wasn't hurt. I recommend Chicago Women/Men's Roller Skates by BIG 5. Yes, the company needs to re-evaluate their product as too many reviews indicate the same issue. It would be nice to get the money back.

Although I bought the skates a few months ago, my daughter (now 7) hasn't used them more than 10 times (and that's probably an exaggeration , as you can see there is not much dirt and signs of wear). However, while wearing them to her school's indoor fundraiser in March, a skate slipped out from under her while she was skating, causing her to fall. We loved this product. The design is so "cool" and unique, and the adjustable feature seemed like a huge bonus. The problem is that they are built incorrectly. Where the burr is cut to allow the size to go up or down the material will not hold. The sides of the boot open up every time my daughter gains weight, they have no support on the sides which makes the skates very unstable.
