🔧 Circuit Performance VS90 Black Bent 90° Angled Aluminum Bolt-in Valve Stems (Pack of 4) Review

Well, out of those eight stems I got four good ones out. The problem is that they are aluminum and the threads break off too easily. You can't tighten them enough to keep the stem from moving or compressing the rubber bushing. Damn, the first set had a stem that was unscrewed before attempting installation. On the positive side I finally got four regular ones, they look good and don't leak.

This is the second set I have installed. I think they are way better than standard plastic valves. Reading other reviews I hesitated a bit while tightening the lock nuts but I applied some torque to them without feeling like they were going to strip the threads. Frequently moving up and down will attack the plastic valves and often break them, leading to a complete wheel change. With these valves, I don't have that fear.

I bought these for a custom 3 wheel set. I managed to securely fasten one of the four (all the air came out in 2 days. No joke). After the first seemed to go well, I moved on to the second. I MANUALLY tightened the nut that secures the valve stem and it snapped off immediately. It is clear that he did not use great force, since not a single tool got there. At that moment I just didn't realize that I would have to order another set. Very unfortunate, but very disappointed with the processing

They look great even if they feel, deceptively massive and durable. I took off two before I could properly set one and it was safe enough to try and ride. When you buy them, don't over-tighten them with your fingers or you'll do it again. Trust me, don't even breathe on them once they're installed. Next time I'll buy a higher quality set.
