I bought these for my 3 year old because regular swimwear irritates him a lot. When we're at home he only wears them for swimming, but when we go to the water park or the lake he wears them under his swimming trunks! They are very comfortable and he can swim without chafing!

I thought they would be suitable for my 4 year old's swimming lessons where the boys are required to wear sweaters or briefs. But a 45 minute session and they pile up horribly.

I have been buying City Threads clothing for many years. Saw them after I bought mufflers for my boys and bought them. I bought 6t and 3t but had to downsize as my kids are very skinny. I saved the big ones for later. Size 5 fit my 5 year old perfectly and size 2t fit my 3 year old. You must be comfortable to stay in the pool.

Fits perfectly! Sits above the knee like biker shorts. Just what I was looking for to protect me from the sun while swimming in summer or to keep us a little warmer while swimming in hot springs in winter. I wish they were bigger for my older daughter.

Hand wash all at once. Always air dry. Once in a gentle cycle of washing and sewing, it became very loose and frayed. Doesn't hold up like I hoped. She wears maybe once a week.

They're ok...better than my son's traditional swim trunks in the sea because they prevent rashes, but that's where the benefits end. They are very baggy when wet and my son keeps tugging at the top and lowering his legs. If I was a smaller size they wouldn't have covered his ass.

I bought size 12 for my 11 year old because he is growing so fast. It is a little large, so the size is the same as indicated. Doesn't fall but gives him some room to grow so he can keep going.

When I take her to the beach and she wears regular little swimming trunks, she cannot play on the slides, swings, etc. because they are too hot. They give you more coverage. I am very happy. There were tiny lumps of cloth on it after one wash. I bought it believing it would be of high quality as like most products it is 'made in the USA'. However, this is not the case.

Only bought these shorts 1 1/2 months ago and they already have holes near the seams. so disappointing i can't even go back because the window was up a few weeks ago
