Authentic Civil War Era Quilt Patterns for Reproduction Fabrics Review

I love the quilts in this book, but with each pattern the author only talks about his family. Nowhere in the book does it say that these quilt patterns are reproductions of actual Civil War quilts. The title is very misleading. I thought it would contain authentic samples from the Civil War era. upset.

I saw some of the quilts on Pinterest and loved them, I was so happy they were in the book. I don't know much about Civil War reproduction fabrics or the authenticity of a quilt pattern, but I have no knowledge of Civil War fabrics or contemporary patchwork patterns. my pattern books.
