Bought to keep my pup from jumping out the window. I wish it could be towed further than it is because when buckled in the passenger seat it barely reaches the window. Fits perfectly in both my car and my husband's car and holds it securely when I pull hard so I'm sure it will work for the purpose described.

Used for the first time today. That is amazing! My pit bull loves to stick his head out the window but due to his lack of obedience he likes to try to jump. This is not possible with this buckle. He can hang his head without worrying about getting out of the car. I don't have to struggle physically to hold it with my hands. I should have gotten one of these a long time ago. Rescuer!

Without a doubt the BEST I EVER BUY FOR MY DOG. My puppy mistakes her for a lap dog. Even in the car when I'm driving. This wonderful little thing keeps it in place in the back seat. The seat belt is adjustable for small and large dogs and is fixed in the seat belt holder. It's worth every penny to keep puppies in the car where they belong! Bonus: The pup doesn't jump out of control when I open the door!

Perfect! Just what my dog and I need. My adult rescue dog wanted to be in the front seat and ended up crawling onto my lap and being a large dog I had a hard time controlling him and the car! Now it stays in the back even if I don't fasten it (I found that out by leaving the seat belt in my husband's car). So I'm glad I've already ordered two more for another car and a friend!

I bought this product in 2017 and it still works great. About a year ago I was in a car accident and thank goodness my dog was buckled in the back seat. If I hadn't he would have been thrown out the front window. In everyday life my dog sometimes accidentally steps on the trigger and escapes. This is probably the only issue I've found, but it's not really the product's fault. It's just that my dog is extra lol.
