Thing doesn't work for 2 4k monitors. Only one of them even turned on and only appeared during computer startup. Screen goes black when logging in. The other monitor uses a Displayport to HDMI converter to connect the computer to the KVM (a very common scenario since most graphics cards only have an HDMI port). This ad doesn't work at all. My second computer (laptop) cannot recognize a display. It works great with USB stuff, but for the price this thing should just work. Very very disappointed.

I was looking for a reliable KVM switch that would use all the cables I had and it worked. I've read some complaints about switching times between devices, but in my experience with KVM (as an IT pro) the switching times are about average. It doesn't bother me at all. My biggest concern was that after switching, the computer would automatically detect everything, as I've had devices in the past where it had to "add" the monitor again by moving all my windows, which was always annoying. I bought a KVM to switch between my work Macbook and my home PC. When I first bought it, the mouse/keyboard USB port didn't work - the drivers needed to be updated, and even then there was something wrong with the firmware. Then - Port B at the exit stopped working about 35 days after the return window closed. Would NOT buy again.

Worked great for two weeks and couldn't see my second monitor this morning. I ran the cables, cycled the computer, and the best I could get was a second monitor, which was detected as generic with an unusable resolution. I will send the switch back.

Delivered today. Completely unusable because my monitor shows an error that the resolution is not supported. Also, I'm not sure how it draws power even when it's not connected to the mains.

Connected and started with the remote control. Press the button once and the computer will be switched quickly. Before that it was a struggle. I couldn't figure out whether to press the button on the device box once or twice to switch computers. Now I can give this KVM an excellent rating.

This KVM is AMAZING!. It works seamlessly with two 4K monitors. If you're like me and have a mechanical keyboard, you'll be very happy to know that KVM has a button that disables hotkey monitoring, which means the device shows up on the remote computer. Good 2-port HDMI KVM. The display quality is excellent. I am using a Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse with its merging receiver and have had issues where if the hotkey was on the keyboard it would intermittently have sticky key behavior on both computers (e.g. highlighting text on the screen etc. ) would show. Worth every penny. I have a work laptop and a personal desktop with two 27 inch curved monitors. I needed a way to hot swap between computers, monitors, and my wireless keyboard and mouse. It helps. Works very well.
