The color on the box led me to believe it was strawberry blonde. It looks more like a watermelon in the front and a strawberry in the back. The front around my face is pink. Obviously this is for highlights, but the photo of the person on the box had a uniform hair color. I hope it washes off the same way as the rose gold product I used before. My hair is dark blonde to light brown with lots of silver-grey hair on top. The color is really nice and shiny rose gold. if you want a stronger result, you should probably mix less conditioner or just use it on its own). I liked it but it turned out to be much darker than I expected, something between fuchsia and maroon. Most of the color slowly washed out over a couple of weeks (I wash my hair twice a week so I expected it to last longer and was a little disappointed that it didn't). Bought this for my 77 year old mother. The color completely covered her gray hair. I say it's a cool pink. She didn't dry her hair. She doesn't look like a 77-year-old yearning for youth; she looks fresh and carefree. She gets a lot of compliments, which makes me feel good.

Don't waste your money. It didn't take off the color. I have bleached my hair before (I already had light strawberry blonde hair) and this color only deposited the color at my roots (the unbleached part). I followed the directions on the box which said bleach shouldn't have bleached my hair. It was washed right out of my hair. I dyed it twice and no color.
