Prepare to return it if needed

I bought this because my father is hard of hearing with hearing aids, I was assured by the company that it works, it doesn't work, it beeps every one Times when my mother connects an extension phone to a Panasonic phone a hearing care professional came to me and this phone is not suitable for hearing aids with over-ear amplification as they then have to use the speakerphone which is also not High quality, I would return it but of course 30 days have passed.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Waiting too long

Simple functions don't work

I bought this phone for our house. We need an audio caller ID. It does however, however there is no screen to inform the calling phone number and the Audio ID does not speak this information. Also, if someone tries to mute the sound ID on an incoming call (we get a lot of robocalls), the mute button doesn't work! This does not mute the phone. Also when someone tries to adjust the ringer volume it doesn't work. Does not work too. Also, the phone calls every number every time someone calls, which

Good design, good value

Excellent clarity and gain for both speaking and listening. The large buttons are nice, and the combination of audible and visual ringing is useful; especially if the person has a roommate. The automatic redial system can/should be simpler. Currently, three-button increments are required for all but the two pre-programmed one-touch dials. I would suggest that software engineers try to reduce them to single button functions. The larger size and more "traditional" shape also seems to help with…

DO NOT BUY! - Landline

Do not buy this phone! I bought this phone for my 88 year old mother who has arthritis in her hands and hearing loss. At first we were very excited how she could hear on the phone but when she tried to answer the call the caller could hear her but she couldn't hear the caller. I called Clarity and they told me that due to the voice assistant option, the recipient cannot always hear the caller. I was also told that they have fixed this issue on newer models but cannot fix any models already on…

  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

Nothing for the visually impaired.

Not for the visually impaired. The phone does not have braille. They have the foresight to put up a phone-sized warning sticker in Braille. Says the phone can be noisy. It's not in your favor. They're just afraid that someone might complain. They don't offer any other braille stickers that could really help. Talking buttons. Some of them but not all. Need to know if it's in hands-free mode? nope there is light In fact, there are many flashing lights of different colors that are useless to those

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

Better around though. - Office Electronics

I'm giving this phone 4 stars but that's because I don't think there's anything better based on what I've found over several nights of searching . Needed to replace my mother's existing cordless boosted phone due to battery failure. In any case, it had a fatal design flaw. They placed the volume buttons right where a person would normally hold a phone. My mother kept turning down the volume on her old phone and couldn't understand why she couldn't hear anyone on the phone. Confused them and…
