Slightly big, very comfortable

Very nice and comfortable shoes. They're a little big, but not so much that I'm a size (or half a size) smaller. I bought them 11 wide which is my normal size but I probably didn't need the wider size. Even with thicker socks I still have some leeway. The bottom has enough padding for long periods of standing/walking, the color is like the picture (brown leather) and the leather is very soft. These shoes are quite flexible to begin with with a certain stiffness that I like. I've worn them…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Weight

Clark Shoda is fine. Good OK

This is the second pair of Clark shoes of the same type (not Showa) that I bought a few years ago. First, Showas are waterproof. Second, I bought the smooth skin version as the price was better than the NuBuck. NuBuck is a very durable suede, but I love the look of leather shoes. My old pair (not Showa but the same Fires) are starting to wear down to the midsole foam and aren't as waterproof as new. Two years of intensive use is not bad. I walk my dog, I work in them in dry and wet weather…

Pros
  • Normal price
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Good casual travel shoe

Very comfortable for walking and great waterproof for travel. Worn in Zurich and then in Vietnam and Cambodia in January 2020. My only downside was that all the dust was in Siem Reap and my attempt to remove it with a damp cloth resulted in the light blue color fading considerably. It doesn't look like the same shoes. Otherwise it is in good condition. Anyone know how to clean up this stuff to keep the color?

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • I'm worried

The shoes were defective and Clarks did not respond to my inquiries.

I had these shoes less than a month before the sole started to separate from the shoe. This was really disappointing because they are quite comfortable. Clarks did not respond to my requests to resolve this issue. It's a shame because I really like Clarks shoes (this is my fourth pair) but I can't count on their help when they ship defective shoes.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Not bad

My heel hurts

I really like the look of these shoes: and especially that they are waterproof. But they hurt my heel. I have to decide if it's worth investing in a solution, and if it's even possible.

Pros
  • Excellent workmanship
Cons
  • There are problems

Shoe depth on fashion sneakers

This is not for me, the heel rubs the top of the heel. I could add an insole but if you pay for the shoe it should fit without having to adjust the shoe by adding an extra insole. After adding an extra insole, the shoe rubs on the toes. I want to buy more Clark shoes.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Repair

Comfortable but not durable

I've had them for a little less than two months and they are excellent. I'm a teacher and I'm on my feet a lot. They look great and are very comfortable, but it hasn't even been two months since the sole came off the shoe. They'll soon become unwearable and I'll have to find something more permanent. I have to say I'm a bit disappointed after hearing so many compliments from Clarks.

Comfortable for travel

These shoes are dressy enough for a meeting, but stylish enough to walk around town straight after. The waterproofing is a nice touch, especially during rainy seasons as some of my other leather Clarks have been ruined by the Pacific Northwest weather.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • So-Sun

Good shoes are best for men

These shoes are great! They just fit a little more. I have to say that the description says the shoes are waterproof but the leather of the shoes will not be waterproof.

Pros
  • Beautiful thing
Cons
  • Expandable
