🍪 Stainless Steel Cookie Press - Classic Edition Review

The pin holding the spring on the handle was cut off after squeezing out just a few biscuits. I was hoping it would be more durable than the OXO plastic press, but it turned out to be less durable. It also doesn't look like real stainless steel (rusted after a trip in the dishwasher; nothing in the instructions suggests it's not dishwasher-safe). Either buy another OXO or shell out for an expensive, high-end cookie press.

I was looking forward to brushing up on my pressed cookie making skills and as this was going to be stainless steel I thought I'd have it for the long haul. Firstly I suspect this was a previously returned item. When I received it the top of the box was open and the press was fully assembled and looked like it had been used. After a thorough wash, and it should be noted that the edges of the barrel and handle are very sharp, I loaded it with batter. and after struggling to figure out how it works, I started pumping cookies with ease.
