My seven year old grater finally gave up and became like an old friend. I didn't want to buy a new one because I was sure I wouldn't find one that worked as well as the one I had. Boy - I was wrong! This block works perfectly! It was well packaged, arrived earlier than expected and gives very finely grated zest. I am very pleased!

I always keep lemon peel in the freezer (orange too, but I don't use it often). This cester really outperforms my all-purpose grater, which is relatively difficult to clean. In the future, I will peel all my lemons before halving and juicing them. I place the shell on a 12" square sandwich sheet, fold over and put in a ziplock bag and freeze. MUCH better than bottled because it turns into a solid shell + water rock in the bottle and is difficult to remove.

Love this Cester. You wouldn't think you could go wrong with something like this, but I found it and returned it, then bought this one. It's durable, sharp and if rinsed off quickly after use, it's very easy to keep clean. I really appreciate the case that protects my hands when I reach into the drawer for something else. It costs money. I just wish it was in other colors. I would have liked a wood texture or another color to match my kitchen, but it feels very comfortable in the hand. If you…
