Due to the microbeads ban, C&C has updated its formula. The new formula absorbs a lot more than a little. I'd recommend this with something from St Ives because it won't flake at all (regardless of what the packaging says). The new formula has about as much in common with what you've been using for years as New Coke has with Old Coke. and just as popular!

If you want a clean face and save money this is for you. I only use this twice a day. Morning and evening and my results are incredible. You don't need proactive or other expensive products when you have this.

I think it works well and dries up pimples well but I wouldn't consider deep action. There is little peeling in the wash. I probably won't buy this again, I like a more aggressive scrub, I find it a lighter face wash.

Don't let the word 'new and improved' on the label fool you. The beads that used to do their job so well are now completely invisible. It still leaves a feeling of freshness, but if you also want to exfoliate, it doesn't go with the old formula. I have been using this cleaner for 10 years now. The new formula pisses me off. They've done more than just remove the globules, it's now a more runny, oily formula. I don't know what I'm going to do.

I've been using this cleanser for over a year and I really love it. Makes you want that fresh, cool and clean feeling. My skin is never as soft as it is right after using this cleanser. My skin is on average dry to oily. Some days I lean one way and other days I lean the other way. This facial cleansing was never a problem. It exfoliates and cleanses just enough to reduce oil and unclogs pores with just enough moisture not to dry you out.

I have tried quite a number of personal care products. I have purchased Origins, Aveeno, Clearasil and Oil of Olay products and am pleased to report that this product has been as satisfactory as any product I have used from the above brands. This product did not irritate me, I used it for several months and found it very good. HOWEVER, every day after showering, my face would start to sweat for no reason. Eventually I realized it was a washroom! I advised my husband to try it and he had the same. Very strange. I will look for another cleaner.
