Doesn't collect dust

I am very disappointed with this towel. I used to have an electrostatic rag that worked great. I live in a dusty place, I wiped the whole house with this vacuum cleaner and it didn't collect any dust. It looked completely dust free and nothing came loose when I shook it. Also, the handle doesn't stay tight to keep it stretched. Did basically nothing.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • No mold required

Buy a telescoping pole but don't buy the rag itself

The telescoping pole is great and just long enough for long corn cobs. But that's the only thing I'm going to use it for - the rag itself is shedding little blue fibers all over the place - it leaves a mess! Not sure if it's just because it's new or not, but I definitely wouldn't use it for house cleaning - I don't like the feather duster at all.

Won't lock after a few months of use

I bought this item 5 months ago and initially gave it a good rating. But now it's useless. It just won't snap after using it once a week for three months. And because it doesn't lock, the top rotates. It will drive you crazy Now I've glued it to the shortest length and use it now and then for small areas. As we talk, we're looking for a new one on Revain. In my opinion, it is better to shift the cost of this to a better model.

Canopies and Not Static at All

Edited Review: Not Static at All. It just blows dust. I dusted the furniture with a Swiffer cloth, then pulled out this "electrostatic" rag to get to the previously dusted area and all it did was push the dust around and create a dust cloud that eventually settled on the area I had previously dusted ! I had to vacuum everything again. First Rating: Taken out of the packaging and the washcloth immediately started fluffing. Well, I thought, maybe some broken parts from production. So I gave him a

Finally a rag that challenges your character!

Using this product will increase your blood pressure. The "extension" slips out, but no matter how you tighten it, it just collapses during use. A "static" rag isn't static at all, it just moves dust (and not very well!) from the higher section down onto you and onto the surface below. The anther itself doesn't stay in one position either. For example, if you try to wipe down a ceiling fan, it won't stay nice and straight with a quick movement, but will rotate with every movement. I worked on…

The opinion of cleaning companies

I have a cleaning company and am always looking for a good "high rag". What I don't understand is why the manufacturers of such rags don't put some kind of plastic cap on them so that the metal wire sticking out at the top doesn't scratch the ceiling! This is unlikely to happen the first few times you use it, but it will eventually start. To solve this problem, we wrap the top of the wire with electrical tape. Otherwise, I'd say the design is average strong. If you're buying this for your home…

Weak head mount

I make my living cleaning my house and this is the tool I use that causes me more trouble than any other! Menards used to have a reliable one that lasted a long time, but they replaced it with something cheaper. This particular brand was great at first! The adjustable extension is a little longer than others I've had and is sturdy and snaps in well. Any new rag will fray a little at first, and the fibers will come loose if they get into tears and the like. As with every other duster I've had…

Compared to similar rags OXO Good Grips

I couldn't decide which of the two retractable dusters to buy. So I took both (since I have a two story house it's handy to have a cobweb rag on each floor!) and kept them both. They're similar, but each has their own benefit, which I appreciate. Here are my pros and cons, ranked by stars, for this duster, the Eurow electrostatic duster with 3-piece extension pole, and the OXO Good Grips retractable microfiber dusters for multiple categories. As you can see, I love both feather dusters! How…
