Looks and feels good but doesn't work

I really wanted this bottle to please but something is wrong with the design of the lid/spout. It constantly flows from above even when not in use. Cap to measure and pour the detergent, and when you put it back on the bottle, any drips will run out from under the cap after you put the cap back on.

Relatable: Cute but not functional.

I am an absolute monster for Cleancult detergent with sandalwood scent. Every time I do laundry, I sniff the box like an addict and can't imagine buying any other detergent. The reason I went to Cleancult in the first place was because I wanted to reduce my laundry's carbon footprint and use less waste, so their paper box packaging was super perfect. Nice concept, nice bottle, but doesn't work with Cleancult detergent.

I was very excited when I heard about Cleancult, especially their eco-friendly packaging and refillable dispensers like this one. Unfortunately, this Cleancult dispenser was not developed for our own brand of liquid detergents. The biggest problem is that the bottle/dispenser doesn't work well with brand name detergent.
