Doesn't work on any of my HDMI consoles

So Windows 10 said it had a capture card set up when I plugged it in but nothing gave me any indication that it worked except Windows 10 tells me it has set up a usb device. I've tried my XBOX360, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Wii (using an AV to HDMI converter) and nothing shows up. There is not even a notification sound that I have connected or disconnected the capture card to my PC. I also left a question on this product to see if anyone knows a solution but today it just disappeared (maybe a

Cons
  • Mostly ok but...

Not working for internals

Tried multiple logins, multiple apps, multiple computers with multiple operating systems. It just doesn't work. It's not just DOA either; It usually shows up as a device, but not always, and it even sent video once, but after I disabled it, never again. So it looks more like cheap junk that doesn't meet the requirements than a defective device.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • It's pissing me off

Worked as stated.

Best value for money if you are looking for a video capture card. How wonderful that I can watch it anytime and not have to worry about the tape going bad. I thought it was worth a try and was surprised by the results.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Works - BUT. This is NOT a USB 3.0 device

Although this capture card works well, it is not a USB 3.0 device. When connected to a USB 3.0 port, the device registers itself as a USB 2.0 device at USB 2.0 speeds. It uses the same "MACROSILICON" [534d:2109] chip as every other USB 2.0 capture card I know of. The title and description are misleading and should be updated to reflect the correct specifications.

Easy to use, works great

Reluctant to buy due to price difference compared to others. But it works great and the image quality is excellent. I just had to use my DSLR as a webcam and that was a great option as all webcams are now sold out or overpriced. I thought it would be like a USB stick but it's very well made. . everything connected and working great.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Secret

Misleading device for computer and accessories

This capture card is not worth buying and is very misleading, it is supposed to capture up to 4k resolution but only captures at 640 resolution instead so I don't recommend anyone to buy this card device

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Minor issues

You get what you pay for

No wonder Elgato capture cards cost a few hundred dollars. After hours of messing around with the settings in OBS, I couldn't get clear, very noticeable pixelation no matter how hard I cranked up the settings. Of course, at a certain point I lose framerate stability, so I can't go too high either. I understand that some limitations are related to my PC, but most of them are related to the capture card itself. It is not designed for gaming. It's probably great for DLSR and other applications…

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Not bad

It's plug and play, I connected my DSLR with HDMI output for the feed and it worked straight away in OBS. I have 2 others from other pass through brands that are $50 and $100. Actually I don't really like the $100 because the colors are too garish it looks fake. This one is similar to the $50, a little low contrast, which I prefer (neutral). Now it has a slight delay. I calculated it between 10ms and 15ms. It's barely noticeable, but it's enough to make you think something's wrong when you see…

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Don't really like it, everything is fine
