Works great for recording or streaming my retro and modern systems at 60 fps from my Ubuntu Linux (actually Kubuntu) laptop with OBS. No setup, no fuss, just quality.

This is a good recording device, but unfortunately it doesn't work properly with vmix. It only works as an independent recording device. Working with third-party programs like vmix is difficult. You must play Flint in fullscreen and add it to the vmix, otherwise it cannot be added to the vmix via ndi. I wish the clone alliance could fix this by making 3rd party Vmix work

Use this device to integrate an HDMI video source into your broadcast. We had to show our products for tutorial videos and use a camera with more focus options than a webcam. Works perfectly. Nice and simple, no setup issues (Win10 pro).

Use a Mac and try streaming over HDMI - there are several options. I wanted to get away from the Elgato series as it's only recognized by their own software and their software (Mac version) isn't very versatile. So now I'm on my third brand. Yes. Finally. Just buy it. That's the real deal. Connected my Panasonic HC-V770 and it just worked (Windows 10). You can choose a webcam as one of the options on the main video calling platforms (Skype, Hangouts, Messenger, etc.). Having bought and returned other junk from Revain for this purpose I can assure you that this is the best capture card out there right now. in stock (because Elgato Camlink is sold out everywhere). I didn't buy this time for gameplay but for video recording. First of all I would like to say that this element ignores HDCP like its other elements. This question has been asked by others. The picture quality at least of the computer screen in 15 minutes was very good. Supposedly 60 frames per second. Used to stream live TV last weekend and it worked as advertised. No problems, great quality. I connected HDMI to it from a Sony camcorder on a tripod. Mixed with home audio using ManyCam and streamed live on YouTube. We paired it with a second webcam (Logitech) and switched to multiple cameras.
