This smaller piece however was a nightmare due to pieces that chipped easily, part of the door that had a small crack I didn't notice and the corner broke off, directions that weren't as informative as they could have been and a fragility to the cabinet that while building, one had to be very cautious not to bump pieces together or they would chip a bit. I just received and assembled this item. At the time, I paid a premium to get the color I wanted (dark cherry) but that was my choice. It was also my choice to buy this item in spite of the many poor ratings here. Horrible flimsy material. And the company already knows it because before you start it advises you to "assemble somewhere soft and by hand, don't use power tools", not because it's in any way easy to do this with the holes they've barely carved out but because that's gonna cause the TERRIBLE WOOD TO FALL APART. Read the other reviews carefully. I went to put this together (of course on a weekend) and the cabinet was missing the top piece. I wrote the company an email (no customer service hours on the weekend). I then read some of the other reviews, and several also mentioned missing pieces. What bothers me most is that I line up projects on the weekend to accomplish and very often one depends on another. This cabinet isn’t very sturdy and it looks/feels cheap. But for the price I expected that much. It does the job it was intended for, but you can see the screws and the top has bare spots where the particle board isn’t finished. I assume it’s because they think you will stack them, it includes hardware for that, but if you aren’t going to stack it might want to get some finish or paint.

The ClosetMaid 2 door organizer is what I expected for the price. If you are looking for a sturdy, long lasting cabinet this is probably not for you. I wanted a small cabinet to store my Keurig boxes. We are Keurig fans and I order from their site in order to get the best price and no shipping but this means I have to order at least five 24count boxes at a time so we need a place to put them. Usable space inside is about 11 inches wide and 10.75 deep. It was easy to put together and seems very sturdy. Going to use it for craft container storage.
