Too much flexibility for repair work.

The product is big but the plastic is fragile. It couldn't support my 29.5 lb carbon fiber mountain bike. It's very wobbly and flexes so you can't really spin the wheels or work on alignment issues. The bike will not stand upright due to the flexibility of the hanger. I have a feeling it will break completely very soon. It's a nice design, but unless you're working with a very light kids' bike, it's pretty much useless. If your bike weighs less than 20 pounds, that's probably not bad.

Works but could be better

This ended up working fine but I had trouble installing it and had some issues. I couldn't use it horizontally as in the picture because the clip would clamp the cables for my switches, I didn't think of that when ordering. I rotated the clamp 90 degrees and used it to secure the vertical portion of my frame under the seatpost and it worked, but I had to drill a hole in the metal arm for the screw, it would be better if they were pre-drilled for vertical installation. Get creative. It's a desktop mount too, guys.

The only pictures I've seen of what the product is more or less supposed to do is of it mounted on a wall or stand. When not in use, it folds flat on a vertical surface. I really wanted a desk mount, so I flipped the script and treated it as a desk mount. I used some wood to thicken the edge on my workbench. I then threw away the supplied screws and used my own 3" screws. I have the screws in the bench and boom, it's a pretty darn solid mount. When not in use it lifts up and stands upright. Itโ€ฆ
