Description of 🐠 Discover the Clscea Aquarium DIY CO2 Generator System Kit for a Thriving Underwater Ecosystem!

The trim valve is upgraded to a needle valve for more precise adjustment and durability. Upgraded safety valve, more stable pressure relief value and more controllable pressure relief. The DIY CO2 Kit provides an excellent method of deploying the citric acid / baking soda solution to generate CO2 for plants' growing in the aquarium. Easy to operate and designed for low cost planted tank use. Much easier and safer to control. A quick reaction test tube simplifies the procedure and achieves a fast reaction. The unique design of the magnetic acid absorbing ball makes it more convenient to control acid consumption. Our tubing is highly resistant to pressure, and the tubing between the two caps is even acid- and hydrolysis-resistant. ABS engineering plastic caps with professional stable structural design ensure that they are non-deformable, anti-wear and anti-aging. Our CO2 Generator Kit includes most accessories. You only need to prepare yourself: 2 additional carbonated beverage bottles (preferably for 2L), e.g. Coke or Sprite; reaction materials: baking soda and citric acid; check valve and CO2 diffuser.

Works best in air pump accessories

Works great. Easy to use. I poured a whole container of citric acid into one of the bottles and expect it to last at least a month.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Really good for the budget

The kit works great, the only downside is the valve that comes with the system, if you let the pressure go above 1.5 adjusting the bubble rate becomes one real problem. I have returned home 2 times with dangerously high CO2 levels because of the valve, even though I should not have left the CO2 generation system while I was away, so this could be attributed to user error. Great bang for your buck and my plants are thriving on this kit.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Good Introduction to CO2 - Aquarium Pumps and Filters

I installed this in my 75 gallon tank. I recommend this product to get your feet wet when using CO2 without spending a lot of money. You definitely have to play around with it and finding the perfect spirit level can be tricky, but it works well. I haven't had much success with the way the instructions tell you how to start either, for example I don't use this vial. But I squeeze the first bottle into the second to start the reaction.

  • Cool

  • Pretty OK

Works Perfectly - Aquarium Pumps and Filters

To start... I used a few smaller bottles and half the ingredients. There were no starting problems. Nothing leaks and it has a non-return valve for the night. However, I found the needle adjustment valve a bit difficult to adjust. When the valve is closed (tightened by hand) it still lets a decent amount of CO2 through. You almost have to pull it down to shrink it to 1 bubble in 3 seconds. I'm sure there are better valves out there as this type is probably for higher pressure applications…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No Power

Uh, not what I expected.

Working with CO2 in aquaristics is expensive and I thought this set would be a good alternative. However, I did not expect to receive and try it. work. Now baking soda and water are available, but citric acid is not. It would be nice if they included a small package or something. Instead I had to buy it from Revain as I couldn't find it in any commercial grocery store. Actually the functionality of the product is another matter, I had a hard time getting it to work. I don't know if it was the…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive

The valves are terrible, the rest works fine.

Wanted to try out CO2 in my planted aquarium without a large investment. This kit serves that purpose quite well. A big problem with this kit is the shut off and needle valve. The check valve just doesn't work. Fully closed it will still waste carbon dioxide and bleed all night. Maybe it should do that to relieve pressure, but I'm not sure. Well, the needle valve, that thing is a nuisance. It needs constant adjustment and it just seems to go from not enough bubbles to too many with not much in…

Pros
  • Only positive
Cons
  • Will do
