Suitable for Airport Travel

My husband was on a one day golf trip and wanted to fly in with his clubs. Not wanting to buy him an expensive bag that he only used once during the blue moon, I went with this one. It survived two flights without breaking anything. The only problem is that it's kind of inconvenient to turn around. It kept tipping over as we walked to the airport. Other than that, it's great!

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Cleanliness

Get a hard case

It's economical and I've used it a lot. The fabric is good and durable - you can tuck in clothes and golf clubs if you want, but you'd better find a way to protect the club heads. I usually keep a ball retrieval tool in my pocket because I think it protects the clubs, and it should. I didn't do it last time and American Airlines caught my driver. So now I'm going with a hard case.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Some cons

Falls apart best in holdalls

I used this bag once. I haven't dragged it more than 100 meters total on wheels. The wheel broke very quickly resulting in part of the bag dragging the material instead of the wheel. I bought one of these last year and it worked fine for a year. For the price, I thought it would be nice to get a second one (and give the first one to my mom to use). No luck! It fell apart after one use and I can no longer use it.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Easily wrinkled

Great holdall, better than a hard case.

We bought two of these bags for a trip to Hawaii. They worked great. They were lightweight and easy to carry through the airline's terminal. (they have wheels) I was even able to put extra shoes etc in the bag. It folds up nicely for storage in my garage. To avoid damaging my clubs and trying to steal them, I wrapped the club heads in bubble wrap and duct tape. Worked great. I used to have a hard travel case, but it was much heavier and bulkier.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Good price, ripped on first use

I used this bag once for a flight. It is not known how the baggage service at the airport will handle your belongings but I was sad to see that the bag was badly torn after just one use. Return Flight. The wheels and carrying handle are on the same side, so trying to pick it up after it's rolled on wheels is also inconvenient. The product is competitively priced and protects my travel golf clubs well enough, but I don't think it will stand the test of time.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not the best

Not intended for air travel!

Not suitable for air travel! I have traveled twice from the east coast to the west coast with this bag to play. The zipper is already broken. and the bottom of the bag is torn. Now I'm guessing the movers weren't kind to this bag - proof of that is the fact that one of the coasters on my bag was bent during my last trip. Still - 2 trips (4 flights total) shouldn't be the life of a holdall. I would invest the extra hundred in a hard case as it will save you money in the long run. I am extremelyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • One-year trial version
Cons
  • Hard to say

Fits easily on Golf

This case goes well with my Ping stand case. With a large trolley it can get tight. I liked that the main pocket has 2 zippers that lock with a standard TSA lock. I wish the smaller external bay had this feature. I was uncomfortable putting my shoes in there, so I put them in the compartment for the bag. The only downside I experienced was that the bag could not stand on its own. You have to put it down when you don't roll it or it will tip over. It spins very smoothly and seems to have held up

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Good overall but...
