Works great with my Canon SL2 DSLR

I bought this adapter to attach to a Revain base pole I bought to control the angle of the camera when shooting from above. I found that when I used the arrow, the arrow gave a bit so I couldn't get a 90 degree angle to shoot from above. This adapter fixed that by allowing me to adjust the angle due to play in the arrow. manufactured and can easily support my Canon SL2 with a lens that weighs about 25 ounces. I would buy another one if I needed 2. Pros: Well done. change for this item.

Heavy, metal, durable - inspires confidence

Does exactly what it says - holds a camera or similar mount on a microphone stand. It has a ball joint that can be locked, which is very convenient. I put the Sony a6000 on and it supports the weight of the camera and lens without bouncing. It comes in a plastic package sealed with staples. Original On Stage product. It has a significant weight, I like it. real metal The mounting surface is soft and ideal for mounting on a heavy, expensive camera. I use it on a mic stand to take pictures of…

Sturdy and flexible

This is a great adapter to turn a mic stand into a standard 1/4"-20 photo mount screw. I use it with a cell phone mount (made by Ulanzi ) , and with a combo I can tighten things up so they don't move. But when I need to adjust the ball joint, it comes out easily and just as easy to re-tighten the Home Depot hardware and an old rip-out mic clip. Not great , but I suppose if you need to use MacGyver together and all you have is an old mic clip that's fine, for a few bucks more (and 2 days…

Flush Mount Solution for Stage Cameras

Over Standard Grip Mic Stands Vidpro PG-6 6000mAh Battery Grip 6000mAh Vidpro PG-6 6000mAh Battery Grip Monopod for compact digital cameras, camcorders, GoPro/Action & smartphones "I've used two of these to Firing off action cameras for a 4 hour show that are almost invisible on stage. For a GoPro or Sony FDR-X3000 with such a heavy battery, it offers a solid grip and sets up very quickly in seconds. I wouldn't use it for anything heavier than maybe the Zoom H4n recorder. It would be perfect if

Well made product - works well!

This mic stand to 1/4" tripod socket adapter is well made and works as intended. The locking screw is secure and will easily support a camera weighing 6 pounds or more. The unit I received was well made and the ball joint moved smoothly. The glue used to attach the top rubber surface to the tripod leg doesn't stick to the rubber plate very well. A few drops of plain rubber glue easily solves this problem. Some reviewers report, This will not happen if you use the device properly. This locking…

Use it with a cell phone adapter on a boom mic stand. Works perfectly.

I use this to attach a cell phone adapter to a boom mic stand. This means that this adapter is horizontal and most of the mass is about 4 inches from the ball joint of this adapter which creates quite a bit of torque on that set screw. It lasts for weeks without even a slight slip. However, if I create torque by twisting the phone adapter to one side, the entire adapter will rotate where it bolts to the mic stand, unless you use thread sealant or teflon tape, even with the mic's star lock ring.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Nothing

I had already bought one of these from another online store. This is a great product because a mic stand gives you more headroom than a regular camera tripod. Not to mention that between the price of this adapter and the mic stand you can save money compared to many of the best camera tripods. It CAN be tricky to get your camera level (which is the benefit of a camera tripod that has levels to ensure the camera is level). Small adjustments are not as easy as with a good tripod. There is a set…

I like this little camera mic stand adapter

Fits snugly and snugly in standard wide threaded mic stands. If you have smaller "screw" ends on your mic stand, you can buy a small threaded adapter at any music store for practically no cost. (Maybe a buck if they just won't give it to you.) Use with stands, which have a heavy, round base, takes up less space on stage and elsewhere, and makes it easy to move around and get out of the way . There's no need for a tripod with foldable and foldable legs that get in the way, and most inexpensive…
