Outstanding design, best mounts

This mount was very easy to install by one person. I used this bracket for direct ceiling mounting. The 4 adapter legs easily mate with the 4 mounting points on my Sony 4K projector and one of several sets of screws mates with the threads on the projector. Great design.

too good to be true - that was it. poorly designed product

was not required for the lever: assuming socket head screws did not go in easily. The supplied wrench does not fit well as it is a bit too small. it keeps jumping out of the screw head. the use of security screws was not required. A more serious problem was that the "universal projector mount" included in the kit could not reach all of the mounting holes of the ASK proxima projector. Also, the projector screws were too long: we had to put extra washers under the heads to increase the length…

Works well, time will tell

The mount works well but the mount on the ceiling tube and projector is a problem. It's a bit like a friction fit that then needs to be tightened, but there's no iron-clad connection. It would be a good idea to insert a screw or two after installation to confirm the connection. But it looks good and is easy to put on.

Using a rule is a good rule of thumb.

The presentation did not meet expectations. The design is well done, but the specs aren't very user-friendly for the uninitiated. In addition, the holder in the photo does not correspond to reality.

It's a piece of Chinese junk.

That's pure junk and that's where it actually ended up. The hardware contained streaks during installation, leaving the screws partial or broken. Many of the pre-drilled holes are not deep or precise enough. I ended up buying and using durable steel hardware from Home Depot. In addition, it is only suitable for a small projector. My short Vava throw of $3,000 was too much. That was after spending 4 hours tearing my wall apart to try and use the included hardware. In fact, I'm mechanical by…
