Although it fits comfortably on any finger, it is too bulky to wear like a standard finger ring. This magnet is perfect. destructively powerful to the point that it needs to be handled with extreme care, but at the same time strong enough to hold fairly heavy objects. The key doesn't fall off when I shake it with a magnet. If you need something to scavenge magnetic debris from a lake but don't want to crush your fingers between a magnet and a random steel wall along the way, this is a good size.
