It's such a big deal. It could just be the I bit.

That's a lot. It may just be the bit I got but the dominoes are very free unlike the Festool bits. However, I'll probably try CMT for the big domino bits when the time comes.

Pros
  • Used on Domino machines to cut slots in solid wood and composite wood.
Cons
  • A little wrinkled

That's better than factory.

I like it better than the factory Festool 4mm bit. This bit broke very quickly when the cutter came off the shaft. I bought it because it needs to be strong like other domino sizes, but it also comes in two pieces. This is the only reason I rated it 4 stars and not 5 stars.

Pros
  • Housing and centering spiral made of high-quality heavy-duty steel.
Cons
  • Can't remember

No worse than Festulus.

Works just as well as Festool bits and costs about half. I have an old kit that didn't include a 4mm nozzle and was making stair railings and needed an efficient way to install small balustrades on 3.5" centers. 4mm dominoes seemed like the best solution and I bought this racket to do it. Still sharp after 200+ holes in red oak. Since the Festool bits are blunt, I will buy CMT bits as a replacement.

Pros
  • Black PTFE coated, 2 cutting edges, 2 spiral flutes.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
