Essential Bits: Milling Machine Parts & Accessories

CMT make excellent bits using high quality C4 carbide burs. I use this bit in a Colt router. The CMT 1/8" rounded bit and this bevel bit are my go-to choices for "softening" edges on woodworking projects.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Available in white only

I am a licensed home builder/renovator and have owned and operated a furniture business for many years. These bits used to be great, but in the last 2 months I've bought 2 of these bevel bits and didn't even use them until a few lines appeared on the edge of my countertop. Yes, I also ride them at less than the recommended speed and do

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank
