    Excellent quality and does not bind fur

    Good collar, but suitable for dogs

    The collar disappointed me. I bought this because it was described as good for dogs with sensitive skin. While well made, the inside of the collar was quite rough while the surface of Away from the Dog was very smooth, which is what I was hoping for the collar as a whole. As it didn't work for my beagle's sensitive neck I sent the collar back.

    Looks durable, will turn pet's fur pink

    Skin feels good, my dog hasn't broken it yet. This will turn your dog's coat pink if you don't wash/treat it. And as others have pointed out, the pendant ring is very small as it also serves to secure the back of the collar that comes out of the buckle. If this was my design I would have added a second larger ring elsewhere on the collar.

    The buckle got heavier and the dog got free

    I liked this type of collar because of the comfort and the lack of abrasion on the fur around the neck. Who cares if a six month old puppy suddenly stretched and he broke off the collar leaving me on the floor with a slack leash and collar. Luckily we did our homework on the "come to me" command and my pup came back to me, but that could have been a fatal incident. garbage collar.

    The red stamp has worn off my white terrier leaving a pink ring

    I had to rinse the collar with warm water before putting it on my terrier. She has a mostly white body and now has a pink ring around her neck. I decided to take the advice of other reviews and dip the collar in warm water. I think when it dries everything will be fine. Overall this is a beautiful and durable collar. The price is good too. I looked at other similar collars that sell for $25.

    The dog collar I bought is a very good quality soft leather which was comfortable for my dog and yet didn't tangle like any other collar she has worn. . My only complaint is that the description of the collar only lists the overall length of the collar and the buyer can try to guess what size neck it will fit. My dog's neck is 11-1/4 inches. Wouldn't a 12 inch collar be too small? Is 14 inches too big? I bought a 14" that dangles too much in the narrowest opening. I would trade it but still…
