I bought this radar detector about 7 months ago and since then it has saved me at least 4 times from cops who had all turned off their roadside headlights (so you wouldn't see them until it is too late). This detector usually lets me know about 0.4-0.75 miles ahead of the radar signal (more likely 1000-1500 feet if the signal is blocked, i.e. the soldier is parked behind a concrete barricade). Overall I'd say it's worth the money as a speeding ticket in Pennsylvania costs around $200! Again…

I have been using this radar detector for over a year now. This is the best detector in this price range. Be sure to read the instructions completely as some lanes need to be activated in city mode. Once I started using it every day, I quickly realized where the false positives were. Blushing warnings are the ones to watch out for.
