Bottom strap design flaw

I was looking for something to wear on a camel ride with every bottle of water I had at the time. I liked that it was easy to adjust and somewhat light (although it's actually a bit bulky). Unfortunately, my water bottle fumbled and frightened the camel - luckily nothing bad happened. Nothing holds back the bottom strap that holds the water bottle. So he can slip to the side at any time. This is a serious problem when moving around with a straight water bottle with no cut-out in the middle. He…

No instructions/drawings

I like the idea of the velcro adjustment. Not sure if this works with 0.5 liter water bottles as it looks like you either need to tighten the straps really tight to keep the bottle from falling out and making quick access difficult, or set them loose and hopefully leave only small The strap at the bottom does not move and makes the bottle fall to the ground. With no blueprints or instructions, unboxing the item was a daunting task. Great idea but it would be a 5 star rating if instead of a…

Really great value for money

I get tons of compliments on this water bottle holder. I don't drive and walk a lot, so I need water every time I walk. Especially in summer. I used to carry all my stuff in one big shoulder bag, but I got bumps on my chest where the straps crossed. Backpacks have also found their way into these areas, but are also frowned upon in retail. They often accuse anyone who wears them of being shoplifters. So I decided to buy myself a garbage bag and this bottle cage. It held several different bottles

Pros
  • Great for a small home

  • The downside is there

Suitable for bottles of any size. what's not to like?

I bought a 36 ounce water bottle that none of my tote bags would fit in and after a little shopping I decided to give good old Coghlan a try. Boy was I surprised. Now, I have to admit, it's a bit of a hassle to unfold the straps and adjust the adjustable Velcro straps to size (sorry, Coglans.), but how often are you going to change your water bottles? This holder works and works well. Once I tightened it down to the size of my bottle. Zero problems! The velcro strap keeps the bottle securely in

Cheap and effective: Fits nicely in a 1 liter Nathan Big Shot

This is the simplest thing a bottle cage can have. I first ordered this product, as well as a 40oz Onoola bag carrier for an old Stanley N944 thermos that I wanted to take on a trip. While it held up, it was a bit short and the other half's weight shifted slightly as I hung on my side. see it tie it evenly. The straps were regular nylon (like Onoola's) but were stiffer; so good for short trips. However, if you're using it on a longer hike, I'd suggest wearing some sort of padded strap so you…

Safer than the ring holders on the carabiner. Wanderpraxis

So in my opinion they are much better to use than carabiner/key chain bottle cages which use a rubber O in the neck/bottle cap area. I tried them and they might slip. If you use glass bottles like I do (I no longer want to use plastic to store water for obvious reasons related to chemicals and concerns about the quality of my water/beverage) you may find that the bottle can slip out. I tightened the velcro very tight and added another layer of bottom strip so there was a cross to carry the…

Perfect design for carrying water bottles.

Purchased this item from a store in Moab, Utah a few years ago and lost it when moving. Have looked everywhere for a replacement and was glad to find it here! It's exactly the same as mine. I never go anywhere without my water bottle and this is the perfect economical way to carry water bottles in any situation. I am adding to my review as I have ordered several of these bottle cages. For those of you having trouble and reporting a defect in the bottom strap design, you may be misusing it. The…
