Great valve but beware of missing washers.

Disappointed as one package was missing a washer and I will probably have to use this as a spare. Luckily I bought more than I needed for new tires and lockable wheels so I can swap them out if needed or use the rest of the valve as spares. Overall the product turned out better than expected (except for the missing washer), easily fitted and sealed. I would rate it much higher if the quality issue wasn't there. I would 100% buy again

2001 YZF-R6 for accessories and parts

Worked great on my R6, had a leaking front valve and was only halfway through tire life, was afraid I'd have to go to the repair shop for a simple valve change. Went ahead and replaced the tail at the same time and it only took a few minutes. I use Dyna balls instead of weights to balance my wheels and the little rubber nubs that remain in the tire don't affect balance or function. Valves are 200% better than traditional rubber valves and hold air better. Recommended to all my colleagues. Great

Lifeguards on the way!

Okay, they may not save your LIFE, but they will probably save you an hour or two of hard work while the rest of your party waits and watches. Stick it in the hole. Tighten the nut. Fill it up with air. Ready. No jack. No wrench. The pearl is not broken. If I had one complaint, it was that half a dozen of the balls I bought ended up in my buddies' rigs. But I'd rather donate a $15 valve than spend two hours fighting a dirty 40-inch swamper or even sit and watch someone else do it.

Great product and customer service!

I bought this a few months ago and left a review at the same time. The packages arrived quickly and one of the valves was missing a washer needed for installation. I left my review as such and the manufacturer took notice and contacted me with a brand new valve kit (both with washers) and even added a free emergency valve kit to top it off. You couldn't ask for better customer service! I haven't had any problems with the valves at all and now have a spare in my Jeep tool box just in case. Thank

Quick, easy and safe repair in minutes on my Harley touring bike

Broken valve stem on my Harley this weekend. Instead of taking the rear wheel off, going to a tire shop and swapping the whole thing out, I grabbed some needle tips and fiddled with the old valve (wobbled it around near the base and it came out clean). I inserted this while maintaining downward pressure while tightening the nut and turning the nut until it was nice and tight. Vented and no leaks. super easy. Now I keep them in pairs on motorcycles and on a truck. What a relief when you're stuck

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Write later

Wow big guy?! Very easy. hope it lasts They seemed a little pricey, but no more than buying two cameras and all the hard work involved in installing them. Yes, I cut off an old rubber stick and the rest fell into the tire. No big deal, it's not like this thing will ever go over 4 mph. I dropped a small bottle of Green Slime when I got the hole open; For 34 year old tires it's just cheap insurance. No one will ever replace her after me; and they can outlive me at such a speed! This was on a 1968

100% must be! in Stems

I've been watching videos on youtube of guys changing valve stems on their ATVs. I figured I'd never have to do that while driving. In my 25+ years of motorcycling, I've never had a valve stem fall off, and I've never experienced it. Well, a week after seeing this video, I was riding my ATV through the desert. The quad was ready to ride once I took it off, except my rear valve stem ripped out. I didn't get a chance to fix the tire so I had to limp my quad 10 miles back to the truck and wreck a…

Well done - Colby served me well when it didn't fit my scooter because.

If your scooter or quad requires a 90 degree stem, it probably won't fit, even if it's "super short". After you screw it in, it still sticks out about an inch outside the inside of the wheel. Even with this short version of Colby valves on wheels, where the valve hole is in the center of the wheel, this product obviously points directly to the hub or center of the wheel, and many wheels do not have enough space to install this. I had to grind down the fat end just to install it because on my…
