Great Extension Cord for Contractors!

Through trial and error, I found that this extension cord is a must-have for any contractor. Its durable construction is perfect for job sites, and the lighted feature makes it easy to see in low light conditions. The only downside is that it can be a bit bulky to carry around.

Pros
  • Durable construction, lighted feature
Cons
  • Bulky to carry around

I like the ends to glow when I'm working

I like the ends to glow when I'm working. Unfortunately on my other cable like this the light on one end stopped working although the current still flows fine through it.

Pros
  • Electrician
Cons
  • Bad instructions

Handy item in cables, adapters and multiple sockets

I use it to preheat a diesel engine by applying 115 VAC to the engine's glow plug. The car is outside, as is the socket. Outside sockets must be ground-fault protected. With an indicator at the end of the cord, you'll know you have voltage when you connect it to the heater plug and that there's still voltage when you disconnect it. I only use it when it's under 20F.

Pros
  • Extension cable
Cons
  • Doubtful
