🐦 Cole's SF20 Special Feeder Bird Seed: Premium Quality 20-Pound Blend Review

We have used many different bird feeders over the years but this one attracts a wide variety of birds. We now have everything from thrushes and cardinals to woodpeckers. Even pigeons and other ground birds feed from feeders. My husband calls it bird crack.

Birds love it and I love watching them. In addition, birds need our help to maintain their numbers through all the changes our species is subjecting them to. The variety of seeds attracts a variety of birds, even woodpeckers, who carefully search for peanuts, snatch one, and fly away with it.

Expensive yes but best of the best I think. Everyone else has described it well, but one of the most appealing features is the fact that the seeds are vacuum packed. In those that do not have insects, insects can live from the start. I think vacuum packaging will help eliminate this. A good thing.

My birds love this food. It was cold and desolate so thought I'd treat the birds and I see various birds attacking my feeder including woodpeckers which I have rarely seen in the past. This meal is full of fruits and nuts. This was my first time buying Cole's and I am pleasantly surprised at the high quality of the ingredients. It's worth the extra cost. I would buy again.

My god, my birds love this food. I used to feed them one that had so much mullet/litter seed in it that was always left in the shell so I could throw it away after the birds had eaten what they wanted. Not this food. They absorb almost all of this food. Almost too fast to even keep up. It turns her on. And I love this big bag that the lady carries around for a while even at the speed they take. Highly recommended. :-D

This is a very visually appealing mix and songbirds have every reason to love it as Cole's Special Feeder Seed is a balanced mix of very attractive seeds and nuts. The birds are excited! I found it fresh and generally clean with only a few tiny twigs in the bag. It's pricey, but since shipping was included, it's not unreasonable. This was my choice for stuffing towards the end of winter when my own mix was exhausted. Featured!

I am an avid bird feeder and have a very good squirrel proof feeder that my wife and I see just outside our den window. It's just cool to see all the different birds that come to eat. I've used Audubon Society bird seed with decent results. I saw this seed and it looked like much higher quality ingredients. While it doesn't attract as many birds, I've found that it attracts higher quality and more colorful varieties. After using it for several months, I made it my seed of choice.
