Cutting board problem solved

I live in an apartment in New York and have a small kitchen so cooking can be a challenge given my limited space. This cutting board fits my sink. I love it. Before purchasing, I checked the dimensions of all similar products and found that this is the best option for my sink. I have a wide sink and this cutting board slides out. I also like the removable basket.

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Not trendy

Memory issues negate its value

While it's "ok" to use, memory issues negate its value. The insert will fall out unless it is wedged between other things. If I hadn't already thrown away the box it came in I would have sent it back. If you want to leave it on the sink all the time, that solves the problem, but if you want to keep it on the side when not in use, you'll need a place to put it. This is a problem in my small kitchen.

Holes that are too small are good for the kitchen and dining room

A great product in theory. In practice, the holes in the silicone basket don't drain the water fast enough, so I can't actually flush anything directly in the basket. Also, the extension is a bit sticky, so I have to use two hands to get the cutting board to the right length. This is quite a large board so make sure it fits in your drawer. It's a pretty nice chopping board too - the silicone grips keep it from slipping when you're cutting, and the plastic holds up well.

Stable, easy to care for, perfect!

I bought this about a week ago thinking it would help me get a more stable shearing area over the sink. Well that's great! The perfect size, it's stable, doesn't wobble. I didn't think I would use a colander but both my husband and I use it all the time. Cut the salad dressing, place in a colander and rinse/rinse on the go - easy! The strainer slides out easily so you can immediately throw the waste down the sink/disposal. Excellent purchase! Highly recommended. Increased the area of my…

Ashamed! Resale of returned defective items.

Too bad. I received an item that was previously returned and it was broken. Wow! All hidden details of returning goods, so trouble. That shouldn't be my problem and I shouldn't lose $35. Nobody checks whether the return is a product. It's so easy to give back, they say, if you love hooping, you'll be fine. You have 30 days to return it, print it out within 7 days and then take it to this location, it should be tomorrow (ie 1 day) that's 50 miles. All because it's possible to ship and charge for

  • Absolutely amazing!

I have no ideal, how did I live without it.

If I have a favorite Revain purchase this year (and Revain is my main source of purchases, mind you), this probably will be it! I'm 50 and I cook all the time. I spend hours on weekends chopping veggies to get ready for the week and I am very frustrated that my cutting board won't stay in place for years! I had a cutting board in mind that I would love to create and see in Shark Tank, but who has time for that. Then I took a chance and got this one! It wasn't what I meant, but I was so upset…

This is exactly what I was hoping for. My double kitchen sink (poor design note) doesn't fit next to the garbage chute side. I got through peelings etc. all the time. from one area to another with predictable turbulence and drips en route to recycling. But now, with this simple yet awesome gadget, I can peel strawberries, put them in a colander to rinse, and then just sweep the peel or whatever straight into the trash. I cut the carrots on the board, put them in a colander and again remove the…
