🥦 Green 6 Quart Kitchen Collapsible Colander with Extendable Handles – Silicone Strainer for Over The Sink, Vegetable/Fruit Colanders, Folding Strainer for Kitchen Review

They are surprisingly larger than I thought based on their size alone. I use them almost every day to rinse fruits, beans and veggies. And now and then for pasta and other warm dishes. So far they've held up well. My only gripe is that the holes in the bottom aren't the most efficient so a decent amount of water won't drain out unless you leave it for a while or tip it to one side. .

We had the previous model for many years before ordering a new strainer and the old version has served us well for many more years than we expected. We just got our new colander in the mail and have used it 2 times already. As far as true testimonials go, my opinion is mostly based on using our old colander. We haven't had enough time to really test our new screen to see if its quality meets our expectations, but so far so good!

I love that none of these strainers have a handle. Sometimes the smaller does and it gets in the way. Both have enough support on the bottom to keep them from touching the bottom of my sink. I've had the last at least 5 years before the plastic ripped at the crease. I think that's pretty good considering I put them in the dishwasher a lot and use them a lot. I wish there were more holes on the sides but it doesn't matter and I knew there weren't any when I bought them.

I recently purchased this product to replace one I bought from Target 6 years ago. I liked the color because it matches my knives and utensils. We have just used it for the first time and it has washed in the dishwasher along with the dishes Ziti was baked in. This is what it looks like. Cheaply made and clearly not dirt-repellent. My other stayed bright orange and yellow no matter what was washed with it or what it came in contact with. 2 of them paid.

UPDATE: It's been over a year since I wrote the rave review you see below. I SUPPORT EVERY WORD! These screens are an AMAZING value and they look as good as the day we bought them. FYI: We moved out of state and no longer have a "single butt kitchen" or limited closet space. Although we don't need a collapsible collinder due to space limitations, I would buy them again and again. -- but with something of such good quality. I do not need.
