I bought the UMIKAkitchen multipurpose chopping board primarily to use as an everyday chopping board. I was disappointed when I started testing it. For use as a cutting board, the basket must be folded up. When folded, there is space between the board and the top of the cutting board (something like a moat around a castle). Not sure why they recommend using it as a colander, there are far better options for this purpose. I use it as a record. It's just a tad smaller than a standard record. If you're short on storage space in your kitchen, being able to roll it up and hide it is a bonus.
