this is very cute and looks great on my tan German Shepherd. seems strong as she couldn't break it. I have to pull it up quite often, maybe once or twice a day as the material is a bit slippery.

It's wider than a normal collar but I like that about it. It works like a martingale collar and our dog wears it all the time - he wears it with a Herm-Sprenger spiked collar when he goes for a walk. He gets a lot of compliments, people love his tribal print.

Beatrice's collar arrived today and I'm thrilled! The pattern is beautiful, the stitching is perfect, it's obviously made of durable material and I like that the parts are metal and not plastic. I wanted Bea to have a comfortable collar that would give me extra control when walking with me. ♥️

I have a very active Australian Shepherd and at least she was pulling that hard. Once he even hurt my arm while running with the leash in my hand. This collar really helps and I love that I can grab the part where the D-ring attaches and easily hold onto the collar without pulling too hard. All he needs is to see or hear the squirrel and the hunt is on.

I just bought it based on the sample and didn't realize it was a safety collar. I also tried to find a bigger one and based on the dimensions of this compared to the previous one, it shouldn't have been much bigger. But it was too big for my pit bull. I also just don't like the loop for the safety training aspect. It hangs down oddly and is too easy for them (and other dogs) to grab and pull on. At the same time, he clearly doesn't suit me/us.
