Best wax I have ever used on a boat. It holds up well in the marine environment. Sun exposure wears away and needs to be reapplied after a few months. I spray the wax with another product that helps hold it in place.

I have been detailing for over 20 years and have tried many different waxes from $10 to $2000 and up and Collinite #885 is my favorite wax for any paint color. I even use it for finishing paint jobs. It applies very easily and dissolves just as well as my Zymol Vintage with half the effort and protection for months. Having been using this wax for around 12-15 years I have noticed that with these 3 packs freshly received it seems oilier than the previous version but still great results.

Fleetwax Collinite Paste is an exceptional boat wax. I have insisted on buying this wax and giving it to the gentleman who prepares my boat. The boat looks like new. The only comment, and this is not a criticism, is that wax paste is more difficult to apply. Also, it needs to be applied in small areas and polished immediately, which takes longer. I have used almost all types of wax. What I have found is that the substrate can and does affect the adhesion and quality of the wax. Usually for car and gelcoat I use carnuba wax.
