The bottle was covered in powder and was barely half full

When I opened the mailer there was colored powder everywhere. It turned out to be a huge mess. Painting itself costs less than a cup after mixing. Personally, I think flour and water would give about the same results. It was also yellowish-white rather than white.

Sleek, Adjustable, and Economical

I decided to give it a try, throwing away lots of bottles of dried liquid tempera. This is more economical as you can mix the exact amount you need. The powder has an unlimited shelf life. You can also make the consistency thinner and thicker as you like. Mixes quickly and smoothly. Tempera paint washes off easily, making crafting fun for kids. I won't throw away any more dry bottles!

Pros
  • Latex Free
Cons
  • Fading

Thick, not smooth. And it doesn't hold up well.

This powder is very light and chalky which means it is very difficult to mix. Also, it was difficult to get the right consistency. No matter how much I mixed it was a bit clumpy and not thick and smooth like pre-mixed tempera paint. However, the deal breaker for me was the fact that it doesn't hold up well. I figured I could mix up the batch and save for later, but when I came back to it a week later, it had turned into an oily, lumpy mess and smelled rancid. Pooh. If you want to use this right

  • No Potency
