I love her! for base layers and compression underwear

Fantastic and LAST! I'm a nurse, I'm on my feet 12+ hours a day and trust me these socks are making a world of difference! I bought these for a colleague because I love mine so much. They are perfectly compressible: not so tight that they block circulation, but not so loose that they stretch after 2-3 socks. They hold up well even after washing. Mine has been in use for a year now and still has no signs of wear. Once you put them on, you can never go back to regular socks.

Good for a broken leg

I bought these socks to wear under the walking shoes I have to wear due to a broken leg in a roller derby accident. They are a little shorter than I would like (3 inches below the knee for my 5'9 height). They have enough compression to minimize swelling and are almost as easy to put on as regular socks. The paw print socks left paw prints on my skin after a day of use, which is not only funny but proves effective compression. I had no issues with bundling and the socks stay in place.

Pros
  • clothing, shoes and jewelry
Cons
  • boring packaging

good for swelling during pregnancy

Some reviews mentioned that they are not very high but I definitely did not have such an experience. These are real knee-high socks that sit just below the knees, even though the packaging says "pant socks". I bought these to deal with swelling during pregnancy and they seem to be doing a good job with that. My only complaint is that the designs dug into my foot, not in an uncomfortable way, but left speckles on my legs after I took them off. Knowing this, I'll probably wear plain compression…

Trendy and great healing help!

I love these socks! My first experience with compression stockings was when I was 69 years old. I broke my ankle and the podiatrist suggested compression stockings to aid healing. Today was the first day the swelling and pain were manageable enough to get one fitted to my injured leg. I tried it on my healthy foot a few days ago and it felt so good that I rarely went without it. My injured leg feels great. No pain and I can walk in a hiking boot without pain. My injury was 2 weeks ago. I have…

I also plan to buy more colors of these wonderful socks!

I wish I had worn these compression stockings a few years earlier than now. I only stopped wearing these socks when I developed noticeable, unsightly varicose veins. (I put them on first thing in the morning and take them off every night before bed, which is the recommended way to wear compression stockings based on what I've read about them online.) They've changed me so much! My vein problem even looks noticeably better than it was! (Probably because compression stockings help keep blood…

Pros
  • Helps reduce swelling and pain in the legs. Ideal for pregnant women, air travel or long periods of sitting
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Good for gentle compression.

I have poor circulation and have found that compression stockings help. My doctor recommended not using HARD compression because of the restriction in my veins. Without socks, my calves can swell from a normal 14.5 inches to 19 inches. With socks, I usually swell to about 16.5 inches. If I'm not having such a swollen day I can pull my socks up over my knees, on a bad day (when my calves swell more than 16 inches) the socks still reach the calf, but not much further. The only other brand of…
