I can't believe I didn't change them sooner. I didn't realize how much suction power you lose if you don't change them every 6 months as recommended. I thought maybe I could last that long but I just screwed it up because once I put the new filters in and started running across the floor I was just vacuuming, I picked up nothing but dirt and dust!

I've never taken filters and stuff like that seriously. I figured I could just clean/wash/dust and reuse the ones that came with my vacuum. Boy was I wrong. After buying it, my vacuum cleaner sounded quieter, picked up a lot more dirt from the floor, and sucked a lot better. Don't be a fool like me and buy them for your vacuum cleaner. (More auction performance = less cleaning time) be smarter.

My sponge and filter have not been changed in over a year. I thought maybe I could clean the sponge by hand but it got so dirty I gave up and decided to just buy a new sponge and filter. I was amazed at the improvement in suction and cleaning performance after changing the filter and sponge. The suction power is stronger and the vacuum cleaner cleans like new.

Very easy to install, great price and they've improved the quality of my vacuum cleaner insanely! I couldn't believe how much more suction my vacuum got after changing the filter. Unfortunately my vacuum's motor was having problems so changing the filter didn't solve the whole problem and we had to buy a new vacuum. So change the filters regularly and don't kill your vacuum cleaner!

They work as they should. I've found for some reason that my vacuum's filter housing tends to stick out more when I'm using it. (the one that uses the pleated filter). I don't understand why this is because the airflow seems to be exactly the same and the filter fits perfectly in the case. They seem to be just as good as expensive name brand filters. I simply tied an elastic cord around the filter housing to keep it from popping out again.

I have a Bissell model 7636. This motor sponge pre-filter is too big, but ultimately doesn't fit as perfectly as the one that came with my vacuum cleaner. /.The post motor filter definitely doesn't fit and falls out when I put the whole "box" in it when I put it in the vacuum cleaner. It falls off enough to affect suction, but I can handle it for the next 4 months (2 months per filter). Next time I will definitely buy from Bissell, but this time the price was worth it.
